Got questions?

What is Relay Your Way?

Relay Your Way is an epic relay across Britain championing the 1.5 million young people in the UK with disabilities, including half a million children living with brain conditions. The Relay sends the powerful message that sport, adventure and play should be inclusive to all. Launching in Glasgow on June 3rd, it will travel 2500 km through almost every major city in Britain before finishing at the Parallel Windsor Festival of Inclusivity at Windsor Great Park on July 6th.

Relay Your Way will comprise 250 stages and:

  • Feature a host of different ways of moving the baton - including wheeling, cycling, frame running, tandem bikes, guided running and para surfing
  • Showcase the life changing and innovative technology and products developed by Cerebra’s Innovation Centre
  • Call at SEND and mainstream schools all across the country and directly involve over 10,000 students in the relay
  • Visit a wide range of sporting, cultural and community venues, events and projects featuring young people with disabilities
When is it?

The relay starts at Pinkston Watersports, Glasgow, on Tuesday 3rd June and will finish at the Festival of Inclusivity at Windsor Great Park on Sunday 6th July.

Who can take part?

Anyone over the age of 18 can sign-up - if you are under the age of 18 and would like to run a stage, then please ask your parent/legal guardian to contact us at [email protected]

Please note that, while many stages are accessible, it wasn't possible to plot a fully accessible 2500 km route across Britain. Please see the details of each stage for more information on that stage’s accessibility.

How much does it cost?

The entry fee is £15.00. This includes our fantastic Relay Your Way medal!

We also offer Relay Your Way T-Shirts, designed by 18-year-old Piper, who is hugely talented, very witty and through her experience of being autistic and profoundly deaf has chosen to use her talent to support Cerebra!

Where does the money raised from Relay Your Way go?

Relay Your Way is created by Cerebra to raise vital funds for children with brain conditions and their families. Every pound raised helps Cerebra provide life-changing research, expert advice, and innovative solutions - like custom-designed equipment and sensory resources - that make adventure, play and sport more inclusive. By taking part, you're not just running, walking, or moving your way; you're making a real difference to families who need support the most.
